The project “Support for Public Administration Capacity Building in Turkmenistan” under the Component 1: Institutional Development: Enhance institutional and coordination capacities of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan (AoCS) for Functional Analysis and Development of a Strategic Development Plan for the AoCS, conducted a workshop to present the results of functional analyses of the AoCS, led by project’s senior expert Dr. Axel Koetz on 20 March 2018.
During the workshop a vision and strategic approach for AoCS’s future development in light of the upcoming needs to professional training of civil servants were introduced to the participants. The goal of the workshop was to outline the aspects of an enlarged Academy and new training and structural elements. In addition, the workshop provided valuable information on proposed new programs, such as Distance learning, Master Program, Continuous and Induction trainings, as well as information on Accreditation procedures and requirements.
All participants were provided with certificate of participation at the end of the workshop.
