Workshop on Training Quality Assurance System and Training Needs Analyses Methodology

A workshop on Training Quality Assurance System was conducted on 27 March 2018 to present the standards and requirements in Training Quality Assurance System in EU countries and Kazakhstan. A presentation made by senior expert of the project, Mr. Harry List on international concepts, experiences and research on Training Quality Assurance (TQA) in public administration created an interest among the participants.  The representatives of the Ministry of Education, Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, International University for Humanities and Development, Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the Institute for International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan made presentations on quality assurance practices in their institutions. In addition, presentations made by Konstantin Panteleyev and Bibi Khudaykuliyeva on the instruments of measurement and the results of the training quality assessment were high of interest among participants. At the end of the event the participants evaluated the workshop as a qualitative and useful. Additionally, participants expressed appreciation to Mr. Folkert Milch, Team Leader of the project, for his proactive role in implementation of the project activities. All participants were provided with certificate of participation at the end of the workshop.

Furthermore a workshop on the presentation of Training Needs Analyses Methodology was conducted on 29 March 2018.

The representatives of the following institutions actively participated at the workshop:

  • Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan;
  • Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the population of Turkmenistan;
  • Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan;
  • Institute of Strategic and Sustainable Development;
  • International University for Humanities and Development;
  • Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly;
  • Institute for International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan;
  • Institute for State and Law under the President of Turkmenistan;
  • Ministry of Justice;
  • Ministry of Education.

A presentation, made by senior expert of the project Mr. Harry List, covered such areas as the principles and steps in the process of training needs analyses, which is an important instrument to contribute to the performance of the individual and organization. During the workshop results of the survey, conducted in joint cooperation of the national and international experts of the project at the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the population of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and Institute of Strategic and Sustainable Development were presented and discussed. Participants were actively involved in a group work and plenary discussions, as well as experience on TNA methodology has been actively exchanged among participants and project experts.

All participants were provided with certificate of participation at the end of the workshop.
