Ashgabat, September 6, 2019. The European Union funded project “Support for Public Administration Capacity Building in Turkmenistan” organized training on Human Resource Management (HRM) and Development with the participation of the international expert Mr. Harry List. The training was conducted at the International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) for the University lecturers and students.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan (AoCS) for the request of the IUHD. The purpose of this event was to present the best international practices, standards, and principles of Human Resource Management and Development, as part of the Master’s Program.
This was the second training organized by the project for the IUHD. Participants of the training were students and lecturers of the Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Education Management.
Mr. Harry List presented trending topics on HRM and explained them with examples. Lecturers and students actively discussed the topics, which they were interested in and Mr. List was open to all kinds of questions. The training left a good impression among the participants and they expressed a desire to participate in such events more in the future.
The training contributes to achieving the project results on the Component 2: Strengthening capacities of the AoCS, other training institutions and state bodies in the provision of demand-driven training.
